How many difficulty/risk levels does Rabbit Road have and how do they affect gameplay?

Rabbit Road offers four difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard, Hardcore). The higher the difficulty, the fewer steps the rabbit can take, the higher the potential multiplier, but also the higher the risk of the run ending early. For example, Easy might reward up to ~23×, whereas Hardcore may go into thousands of times bet.
